The Wait is Over

By: Delana H. Stewart

Just read an article about a family whose adoption wait is finally over! Their journey was a long one, four years. I can relate to hugs, hugging, father daughter, adopted, adopting, hugging daddy, international adoption, transracial adoption, international adopted family, long journeys. The father, Mr. Kahler, said something that especially resonated with me:

“God is never late, he’s never early, he’s exactly right on time,” Mike Kahler said. “That’s what has sustained us through this journey. We know that he’s a God who cares for those orphans far more than we could. Our trust has to be in God’s providence.”

If you are still waiting, hang in there! God is never late!
